Introduction
Class Packages and Payment
Class Cancellation Policy
-
Advance Notice: If you need to cancel a class, you must send a message or email at least one day before the class day, no later than 6 PM. This allows the teacher to reorganize their schedule, as classes are scheduled back-to-back.
-
Late Cancellation: If a cancellation is made on the same day as the class or after 6 PM the day before, the class will be considered as taken, unless it is due to a legitimate emergency.
-
Frequent Cancellations: If cancellations occur frequently, such as once or more every month, even if for emergencies, we reserve the right to discontinue offering classes. In such cases, the remaining package money will be refunded.
Progress and Homework
-
A follow-up sheet will be maintained to track your progress and homework. Regular completion of assigned homework is crucial for your development.
-
If you consistently fail to complete homework, it will negatively impact your progress and may result in the discontinuation of classes.
Test Preparation (SAT, ACT, EST)
-
For SAT, ACT, and EST students, it is essential to follow the teacher's advice regarding readiness for test trials.
-
Attending test trials without adequate preparation can harm your self-esteem and waste valuable time. We strongly recommend adhering to the teacher’s guidance on when to take these trials.
Account Usage
-
Your account credentials are confidential and are intended for one user only. Sharing your account with others is strictly prohibited. If account sharing is detected, the account will be suspended, and the package classes will stop without a refund.
Refund Policy
-
Refunds will be provided for unused classes in cases where TeacherUsama.com discontinues service due to excessive cancellations or other breaches of these terms.
-
No refunds will be issued for missed or late-canceled classes unless under exceptional circumstances.
Self-Study Follow-Up Plan
Access to Website Materials: You will have ongoing access to all study materials available on the website.
ACT Writing (Grammar) Lessons: Each month (or upon each payment), you will receive a PDF containing 4 ACT Writing lessons, including grammar exercises and their answers.
ACT Reading Lessons: Each month (or upon each payment), you will receive a PDF containing 4 ACT Reading lessons, including reading exercises. Please note that not all lessons will include answers, especially those focused on reading techniques.
Historical Background Lessons: As part of the self-study plan, you will also receive 4 historical background lessons each month. These lessons will help provide important context for reading and comprehension skills.
Free Reading Plan: You will be provided with a Free Reading Plan each month, designed to encourage independent reading and enhance overall language proficiency.
Renewing the Package: Students have the option to renew their package at any time. This allows students who have the time and desire to move faster to continue with additional materials without waiting for the month to end.
Teacher’s Role: The teacher is not obligated to answer any questions related to the self-study materials. However, students may book one or more private classes per month if they wish to have direct, face-to-face interaction with the teacher to address any concerns or questions about the material.
Responsibility: Students are expected to take full responsibility for their progress in the self-study plan. While the provided materials are designed to guide students, their success depends on their independent effort and commitment.
Non-Refundable: Payments made for the self-study follow-up plan are non-refundable once access to materials has been granted, regardless of whether the student completes the lessons or not.
